Wintry Fun with Camembear in West Lothian

A teacher in West Lothian has very kindly shared this fantastic example of how Camembear has been used and linked with the wider curriculum.

"They engaged well with this and had lots of fun.  The children learned how to say snowman, reindeer, father Christmas and star.  Afterwards this led to lots of discussion about winter, which we have already been looking at as part of our responsive planning.  We have lots on our planning wall about winter.  As a progression the children asked if they could make their own snowmen.  The children loved doing this and made fantastic snowmen.  On our return we will display them on our planning wall and show how this links in with our current topic and curriculum.  I have attached a couple of pictures to show you how Camembear can link in with our curriculum.  I coded it using literacy, health and well-being and expressive arts."
